Our Team

The founders of Rezidual A.I. are serial entrepreneurs who have more than 50+ years of payments, finance, and technology domain specific expertise. We have worked in senior executive roles at the largest acquirers as well as founded successful fintech start-ups. As a result, we have a deep appreciation for the limitations of current market offerings and the need for actionable and meticulous portfolio intelligence.

NOLAN PITTMAN

Chief Executive Officer

Nolan has more than a decade of executive-level experience in finance, accounting, and portfolio analytics.  Throughout his career, he has worked in senior analytical roles involving corporate development, forecasting, due diligence, and strategic planning. Nolan appreciates the unwieldy challenge of understanding portfolio metrics at a minute level. Accordingly, he has spearheaded numerous proprietary techniques for analyzing and valuing merchant portfolios which are now available to all Rezidual A.I. clients.


Nolan has a B.A. from Belmont University in Finance/Accounting and holds an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management in Finance/Accounting. He played collegiate soccer and is passionate about fitness and the outdoors. Nolan resides in Nashville, TN.

BARRY KRESS

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO of Rezidual A.I., Barry leads the technology team and is passionate about creating the premier portfolio analytics platform in the payments ecosystem. Barry has more than twenty years of  senior technical leadership experience in various high-tech industries. As an innovator of emerging technologies, he created one of the first touchscreen medical prescription platforms with an industry-first capability to auto transmit the prescription information to pharmacies in 1998. He followed up that effort by coauthoring a general aviation management platform that was later acquired by a Fortune 50 company.

 

Barry’s payment processing experience includes pioneering the connection of a general aviation platform with authorization systems in the petrol industry, to building out the latest generation of ACH and Gift Card processing platforms.  Additionally, Barry has also spearheaded the successful development of a leading proprietary tokenization engine and credit card payment gateway, respectively.

 

Barry received his B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. He is active in Boy Scouts of America with his son and is an avid tennis player.  Barry resides in Tyler, Texas.
